# Text AI Agent

Automate your SMS interactions and streamline communication with a Text AI Agent. This guide shows you how to set up, configure, and deploy your own Text AI Agent for responsive, AI-powered conversations.

## Step-by-step guide

    Go to the **AI Agent** tab and select **New AI Agent** to start creating your text automation agent.

    Select **Text** from the agent type options to build a bot for SMS-based interactions and intelligent responses.

    Name your agent and set up the following options:

    * **Prompt**: Enter instructions to guide your agent's behavior

    Click **Next** to proceed.
